Quintar, the Atlanta Hawks, and State Farm Arena agreed to a multiyear partnership to collaborate on immersive experiences for fans attending games

The Hawks, State Farm Arena, and mixed reality developer Quintar have agreed to a multiyear partnership to collaborate on immersive experiences for fans attending games, beginning with the 2024-25 season. Further deal terms were not disclosed, but the activations, which will be accessible in the Hawks/State Farm Arena app, will center on three key areas:

  • Game-focused features including shot heatmaps and player card data.

  • Gamified contests and sponsored interactive elements.

  • Graphic overlays directing users to locations such as concession shops, security stands, or parking lots.

Founded in 2021 and fresh off an $8.2M Series A in April, Quintar has worked with several sports-related properties (Turner Sports, NBA Digital, Intel Sports), and, most notably, is the official mobile AR & XR development partner for the PGA Tour. Quintar has created augmented reality experiences for the Tour’s mobile app and developed its app for Apple Vision Pro, PGA Tour Vision, which leverages spatial computing to provide immersive second-screen coverage of events.
